AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT

Real Time Measurement of Surface Properties

The G-DOAP is a grating-division-of-amplitude photopolarimeter being developed by one of our clients, Containerless Research, Inc, in Evanston, IL. It can achieve time-resolved measurements of the complete state of polarization of light in the 400-1000 nm wavelength range. One of the uses for this technology is for real time process control during thin-film growth in CVD/PVD systems (used in semiconductor wafer processing).

Indus helped the client with the design and development of electronics for the GDOAP. This included high speed timing and control of linear array detectors, high speed, high resolution data acquisition, digital signal processing, and PC based software development. The client is currently pursuing commercialization of the technology with Indus involved as a subcontractor for further development and OEM supply.
