CELIAC ARTERY FLOW VELOCITY SPECTROGRAM OF A MOUSE
A 20 MHz pulsed Doppler probe is positioned in the upper abdomen area, aimed at the spine with an angle of 25-30 degrees to the horizontal and ranged at 2-3mm to sample the flow velocity in the celiac artery. The celiac artery signal is recognized by its early arrival time (approx. 22 ms. from R-peak) as compared to the renal artery signal (approx. 25 ms. from R-peak).
