AORTIC BLOOD FLOW VELOCITY SPECTROGRAM OF A MOUSE
	A 10 MHz pulsed Doppler probe is positioned just lateral to the xiphoid and is directed towards the right ear, almost parallel to the horizontal and ranged at 8-10mm to sample the flow velocity at the aortic outlet. This signal provides information on LV systolic function which can be affected by inotropic agents, myocardial infarction, or genetic manipulations.
